The Hoosier Award

Named for a Labrador retriever who excelled in 4-H competition, AKC and UKC events and also in a community service as a therapy dog volunteering in the local community. Hoosier was a part of a 10 year 4-H team/member with her 4-H owner. Together they showed all ten years in the Hendricks County and Indiana State Fair 4-H dog project. Hoosier remained active in the program after that by helping kids learn the proper techniques through demonstrations. The Hoosier Award is an award that promotes members who have demonstrated leadership, community service, sportsmanship, and dog club responsibilities/membership. If all the requirements have been met by eligible participants the award will be presented.
