State Fair Directions

Indiana State Fair

Go east on 38th Street

When you get to the main entrance  - Turn right onto Coliseum Ave

Turn left on to Fairfield Ave

Turn left onto Woodland Ave

Go straight through the stop light into Gate 3 entrance

Turn right to the ticket booth

Make a u-turn and you will be headed west

Follow it down to the West Pavilion unload area

Go to the main entrance and go through the stop light to the parking lot that you drove past in the beginning and park. Then walk across the street. Make sure you have your vet form to enter Vet Check. 

State Fair Practices

For those only going to State Fair

Monday, August 14 - Expo Hall:

AGILITY practice will start at 5:30 for those of you who can be there at that time. Come early and help set up the equipment. A second class will be at 6:00 and one run through at 6:30. Parents will then need to pick up agility equipment.

SHOWMANSHIP - will be at 6:00 and 6:30

OBEDIENCE - Malerie and I will be going over obedience on Monday up until 5:30 - 7:00. If you need help with something particular please let us know, we won't have time to do every exercise on Monday. If you need additional Obedience help let us know and Malerie and I can be at the Expo Hall on Wednesday August 16th at 6:00 to go over some things with you. You MUST let us know if you will be attending on this night by Monday August 14th.
DRILL TEAM - 7:00 - 8:00 - be at the drill team practice site and ready to go at 7:00. This will be our last practice. Make sure you bring your shirts and blue jeans (no holes, capris or shorts) for the drill team competition on Saturday.
Don't forget our pitch-in for Saturday! If you have not signed up to bring anything you can on Monday night or e-mail the dog club and let us know what you will be bringing. You need to bring your own drinks.
We also need volunteers for the gate on Saturday. Be sure to check the gate schedule when you get to the show on Saturday.

You MUST have your Vet/Vaccination form (w/ Rabies certificate) turned in before you bring your dog to the first class. This can be picked up at the Extension Office.

You MUST turn in your completed Vet/Vaccination form when you come to your first class. These can be picked up at the extension office. 

Please remember to pay club dues of $10. They help the club pay for equipment that we need such as the agility equipment. It also helps us keep the equipment updated and safe for everyone to use. These dues are separate from the 4-H enrollment dues and they are paid directly to the club.
